Bought this primarily for cat usage. I feed my cat a raw diet and since cats need their taurine, I supplement 1/8 TSP of this powder every day with his meal just for good measure. No issues with him refusing food, and I can mix it in with just about anything. Good stuff, and definitely going to last a long time.

I always look for powder form in supplements, when shopping for my cats. The reason: no unnecessary additives.
Taurine is a necessary addition to all home-cooked cat food, so powder is the way to go & I'm happy I found this on Amazon

This Taurine powder is fine and tastes good too. Now, I don't mean to say one should go mixing it with something. Personally, I just lick a 1/4-teaspoon by itself (in powder) since it's quite bearable - almost like a cool, semi-sweet flavour. There are occasional clumps in it, but not much graininess.
As for the effectiveness, it seems to add a small boost to my energy and strength. As with most things of this sort, the more you have it, the less of a difference it makes - due to tolerance - but I think it still helps even after having been using it for some time.

This is the best source of taurine for your money hands down! This little container has 227 grams of taurine and that is the most you can get in a bottle. Also, it is very easy to use, just put a couple teaspoons(8g I use a lot) in your protein and you can't even tell. Works great for certain supplements that deplete taurine from your body, just replenish it with this. Much easier and cost efficient when compared to pill/capsule form.

I have been looking for good supplements for my 20 year old cat. She is so picky though that anything flavored was a no go. I ordered this powder because the description said it would dissolve tastelessly in anything. I didn't really believe that but now I sure do!!! This stuff is very fluffy and white. When I first put it in her food and started to mix it up it just disappeared. She didn't even notice it. My cousin was being silly one night and decided to taste it for himself. He was shocked to find absolutely no flavor!! I didn't believe him so I stuck my finger in it and tried it as well. It was like trying to taste air! I now use this on all her meals, which I make from scratch. I chop up chicken in a food processor and add this to it with a little broth. She couldn't care less. The bottle is also pretty big since you don't use much at all. I use it everyday and have barely put a dent into it. Overall, if you are looking for a taurine supplement that the animal will actually eat this is the one you want!
