Very nice kid's deskFeb 22, 2010

This desk is a great student desk. It has plenty of work space and, at 48" wide, fits well into a child-sized bedroom. It takes some brain-power assemble but with attention to the detail in the instructions anyone should be able to put it together. Expect it to be a 2-hour job (with breaks).

Nice design, solid, looks good. But I nearly tossed several parts in the recycling bin by mistake. Cardboard parts? Also, the top drawer is several inches shorter than it could have been. (There is room for more drawer!)

After reading the other reviews I paid closer attention to the directions than usual. This desk is easy to assemble so long as you follow each step of the directions and take your time. I timed myself and it took me just over an hour. The desk is sturdy and we're very happy with the result.

Looks Nice BUT a Pain to put Together!!!!Feb 24, 2011

The drawers on this desk are a pain in the butt! I ended up using different screws to get drawers together and them just to be on safe side glued all the seams of drawers. I really do not recommend this desk unless u like a challenge or have a handyman around to do it for you! Just me and my yound teen kids to put together. Took us 2 hours of frustration, short tempers....

Lovely desk. Very attractive, good quality and nice and heavy. Well constructed and a perfect size for the area we have to work with - narrow and nice and wide. Assembly took approximately 5 hours however the instructions were easy to follow and the parts well very well marked out. We definitely recommend this unit.
