 Not tall enough for thick mattresses.May 31, 2011

It seems that the current trend for mattresses are the very thick mattresses. This headboard simply isn't tall enough for that. The cubbies would be below mattress level, which isn't a great idea with young kids. One misplaced slide of the pillow and all your stuff is knocked over. I solved this by building 6 inch risers for the headboards, but that knocks 1 and 1/2 stars off the review.
The other 1/2 star was removed because one of the headboard backs came damaged. The box was undamaged, so this piece made it through their quality control. It was large and obvious flaw that should have been caught.
Other than that, they look decent. The curved top piece is attractive. They were easy to assemble with an electric screwdriver. But if you have taller mattresses, make sure you have some basic carpentry skills to raise them up.

the headboard really completes the look of the bed.I haven't attached it, just have it standing behind the bed against the wall and there are no problems.Easy to put together!

We absolutely love this head board , we have two girls who share a room. These head boards not only look adorable but are very functional . The girls have their tissues , books , small light and little trinkets . It is great .

I added these bookcase headboards to my daughters' Lily Rose storage twin beds. The headboards are perfect for my daughters and give them a place to put some of their treasures and their favorite books. The space on top of the bookcase provides ample room for a reading light. One reviewer noted that the headboards don't work with large mattresses, but both of my daughters' beds have pillow-top mattresses, and the headboards work fine.
