Description:

Combining clean lines and classic finishing, this 39-inch twin-size bed offers a beautiful and distinctive sense of simplicity and style. The low-profile structure glows with a warm cherry surface designed to complement any bedroom's decor, and its resilient engineered-wood construction carries the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. Even more, its versatile, neutral tone adapts nicely for boys or girls, with a timeless design as appropriate for toddlers as it is for teens. The unit also provides three smooth-gliding pullout drawers accented by oval-shaped silver metal knobs. A clever and space-saving solution to bedroom clutter, the drawers offer ample storage space for clothing, toys, sporting equipment, books, and more. Best of all, the bed frame features gently profiled corners, protecting little hands and heads from sharp edges. The unit accommodates a standard twin-size mattress and box spring, or provides a comfortable night's sleep with a mattress only. Pair it with the matching bookcase headboard and other pieces from the Jumper Collection (sold separately) to furnish an attractive and functional bedroom set. Some assembly required. Dimensions: 76.25"L x 40"W x 13.75"H.

4Great First BedNov 30, 2010
By JG
I just upgraded my son from a toddler bed to a big boy bed and decided to purchase this one. The storage is great for extra blankets, books, stuffed animals, etc. It also happens to be large enough and supportive enough that I did away with the box springs after purchasing this frame.

My only complaints are these: when I received it one of the boards was slightly cracked, and it's a LOT of work to put together.Finish seemed quite a bit darker than what was purchased.

1The only right thing about this bed is that I ordered it from AmazonFeb 25, 2011

As a start, I'm very good with furniture assembly in general. Now, without exaggeration... I entered the first screw in the first piece of wood (which was part of the drawers) and *crack*, the screw made a crack immediately when it reached the end, and I didn't turn it hard or tried to make sure it's secured by pushing it further. I thought it might be my mistake that I had the piece of wood placed on the floor and not a carpet. I entered the 2nd screw in the other hole, on a carpet and... *crack*. And by the way, one of the screws' holes (where you enter your screwdriver) was melted (I really don't know what ISO South Shore are talking about), so I was going to end up anyway with one screw less if I continued the assembly.
Anyway, the only right thing, as I said in the subject, is that I ordered this item from Amazon and they didn't give me a hard time returning it (well, the pick-up guy is coming tomorrow but I don't expect any issues since it's Amazon related).

Finally, since there are some positive reviews, I will say MAYBE I received a defected item... but I won't order another one anyway.

5very pleasedJul 08, 2009

These beds solved a problem we had -- more grandchildren, same available space! The beds went together easily, looked great, and the drawers were perfect for the kids clothes when they visit. I am very pleased with the beds and also with the service we received.

5Great kids bedMay 05, 2012

Great value for the money. I bought one of these for each of my kids. The drawers are really handy for storing toys or books. I would definitely buy this again.

First bad thing: it took weeks to get here! That's a first for me on Amazon.

Now.. I read the reviews AFTER I bought the bed actually. I really would not have otherwise.
Yes, the pieces are mostly particle board, but when put together correctly it's a fine bed. Especially for the price. So starting out, getting too hasty, I used the wrong screws in the drawers and it DID splinter and pop like the other reviews said. BUT! Once I realized I'd made a mistake, an easy one to make (really check out all your screws before you get going, some are similar), the drawers went together perfectly. In fact the rest of the bed went together easily, even after a broken piece was rigged to go back in for assembly. My son hopped down on the slender piece that goes under the drawers and something else was underneath it and snap! Broken. After a really good tantrum from me, some glue and determination, the bed was perfect other than that scar. He loves it, I love it, what more can you want? It is good quality though, genuinely. Just avoid toddler mishaps and take your time with the directions. The whole thing took me about an hour and a half by myself, including tantrum.
