5Very Nice, Sturdy, and Solid piece of Baby FurnitureMay 28, 2010
By Daniel W. Owens "daowens"
We purchased this product on Amazon about $80 cheaper than even Walmart is offering it. This is the sturdiest piece of compressed wood type furniture that I have ever bought and assembled. It took me quite some time to complete the assembly (as every facet of the piece comes unassembled, incuding drawers, rails, etc.) However, my wife and I are VERY pleased with the outcome and would recommend this product to anyone in the market for baby furniture that will last.

4nice piece of furniture, once you get it put togetherAug 07, 2009
By A. Egaas
Similar to what other people have been saying, I had a hard time putting this together. I thought the directions were clear, there were good pictures of everything and all the parts were labeled, there were just SO MANY pieces. If you are patient and organized you can do it without much frustration, but it takes a lot of time. In my specific experience I read the directions while my husband and father each worked on putting pieces together. We spent about 3 hours putting it together that first night, but we had several damaged pieces in the box, so we had to leave it until the replacement pieces came. When I called the company they were very nice, I just told them which pieces I needed and she took care of it free of charge. She sent me an email confirmation and tracking info. Unfortunately it took them about 2 weeks to actually ship the new parts, and a third week for them to get to me. This meant for me that my living room was full of parts and pieces waiting for this shipment to get here. When it finally got here all the correct pieces were there and in good condition. I finished putting the table together myself, but it took me a few more hours. I'm still glad I picked this table, I like that all the doors and drawers hide away the clutter, and that it can be a dresser when we are done using it as a changing table. It was a hassle to have to wait for those parts for 3 weeks, but if you plan far enough ahead, that shouldn't be a big problem.

1Cheap and ridiculous to assembleSep 22, 2008
By Jennifer
My husband and I laughed when we saw the 40-step instruction book that has zero written instructions and is all diagrams. Aside from the diagrams being very difficult to follow and understand, all the parts have #'s (like a flat head screw = #99 while round head screw that is almost identical = #100). We had to skip steps 11 and 12 until we could see how those pieces would be used in final construction because the directions were so unclear. In the end, we were missing 8 nails and had a surplus of plastic dowels. The hardware is sectioned into plastic bags without rhyme or reason. Aside from a difficult assembly, this is a CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP quality table/bureau. I'm a little nervous about using it with our newborn but since we spent the 4 hours assembling it I can't imagine trying to send it back to the company and starting over. We're going to make the best of it but I would definitely say it's better to spend a few more bucks on something more substantial or even check out Ikea. I think their product would have been a better choice over this one. Obviously, NOT recommended (especially if you aren't handy, which by the way, we are).

5good quality for the priceApr 15, 2011
By LAshopper
i love the traditional look of this changing table. we wanted a pottery barn feel without paying the price. this changing table works great with all the other pbkids accessories i have. my husband did not have a problem putting it together and all the pieces were included in the packaging. i love the sliding shelves which make it easy to reach for stuff. it's a heavy piece, and good quality for the price you're paying. i believe it'll last for years.

3Challenge to Put TogetherJan 01, 2011
By Nicmahl
The dresser itself is very nice. Once put together it is very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. However, the seller was very unresponsive and uncooperative. Not only did the product arrive late, it arrived damaged. My husband contacted the seller and they said they'd have to call us back! But, we never received a return call. Plus, it took about 5 hours to assemble because not all of the pieces were labelled. This made for quite an adventure in assembly. In hindsight, I would have chosen a dresser from a local furniture store, where they would deliver and assemble as part of the price (and provide better customer service).
