Not what I thought it would beAug 04, 2011

Read everything about an item before you purchase it. For some reason I thought this dresser was composed of real wood. Seems everything is "wood products", in other words, compressed wood or particle board. This dresser is made of wood products...not real solid wood. Very difficult to find anything made of real wood anymore. When I saw the composition of the wood, I was disappointed but willing to give it a try. Then I found that the hardware for the drawers was made of plastic! Plastic to support a drawer that could become heavy with clothing? How long can you expect that to last? So I wrapped it back up and started the process of returning it. Amazon could not have been more helpful, courteous, or fast. I got a response to my email requesting to return it within two days and within another couple of days I was informed THEY had made arrangements for this dresser...which weighs around 100 pounds...to be picked up. I didn't have to lug it anywhere. I was informed I would get a full refund and just the other day...about two weeks after it was returned...I got confirmation of a full, complete refund. So I couldn't be happier with the return policy of Amazon. With regards to the dresser, again, carefully read what it's composed of, what the hardware is, and whether or not you have to assemble it before you buy.
