More Energy--May need to start slow.Mar 08, 2010
I've been taking this product for a few years as well as my husband. The dr. recommended two a day. My husband had no problem with this dosage. I, on the other hand did. But, the dr. told me to cut them in half and take 1/2 a day and then each week work up until I got to 2 per day. That worked great. I am on Armor Thyroid but this has given me a great boost in energy level. Wonderful product.

For me this is getting my own thyroid to start producing rather than just supplementing. I am working with my chiropractor and am getting great results.

I never believed it until I tried itFeb 25, 2010
My doctor actually recommended this for my hypothyroidism. I am on so many medications for back problems that when it was discovered that my thyroid was not working properly he was going to prescribe another RX. I knew I had to do something because I had the classic symptoms of hypothyroidism - I was losing my hair to such an extent that I was seriously afraid of going bald, I was lethargic, my mind was foggy and I couldn't solve even the simplest problem, and I was forgetful - not able to remember people I had known for years. So, anyway, I began taking Iodoral in November. I started off taking 4 tablets a day. It took less than a week and I noticed the difference. My body seemed to be 'getting it together' and was joining forced with my mind so that I felt the best I've felt in years. I'm still taking 3 tablets a day to maintain. Iodoral is not expensive and has made such a difference in my life. Thank you!!

Since I have been taking Optimox Iodoral, my energy level has improved greatly and my overall outlook on life has changed. I'm not so depressed anymore. I never knew there was a product like this out there until my doctor told me about it.

I have used this product for a year. It works very well. My doctor had said that my thyroid test was borderline hypothyroid and wanted me to wait until my thyroid slowed even further before putting me on a thyroid medicine. I was dissappointed because my energy level felt very low to me. My chiropractor told me about Iodoral, he claimed that his wife used it and felt more energetic. He and his wife are very conscious about their health, eating only organic, and exercising regularly, so I felt comfortable taking his recommendation.
The best thing about this product is that with only two pills in the morning I feel energetic all day, and it never produces a jittery feeling like caffeine does, and it doesn't make me feel scattered, just more energetic like I feel when I exercise. When I reported my success with Iodoral to my doctor she told me that she could see the positive difference in me and to continue using it.
