I ordered a similar lamp and it cost $48 and has been on back order since Christmas. I finally canceled that order and ordered this one instead (which is about half the price).
The lamp provides a beautiful light show. Its fascinating to watch and almost hypnotic. I didn't notice the buzzing the other reviewer noted maybe because the lamp is on the other side of the room. When I walked over to it and put my ear to it, I could hear some type of sound but it didn't register as buzzing to me. It may be I have some hearing loss and someone with better hearing might notice.
I was so pleased with this purchase. I ordered one for my niece. No regrets, I really like this lamp.

My dad tripped on the cord and shattered this lamp, so I am buying a new one. This lamp looks very cool, creates a light show inside a room. Be careful about the glass part unscrewing from the base.

every time i turn it on there is a buzzing in the background and it is quite annoying. it isn't a loud one but it is unmistakably there from the lamp and not my outlet or anything else.
