perfect foam rollerAug 08, 2010 this foam roller is perfect for me. the roller is quality eva foam material , same density as the ones for 10-15 dollars more. I am in a class , and we use these foam rollers alot, a few of us bought our own , so I compared mine to there's ,I got a good deal , without any compromise in quality. the standard ones ,in our gym, like the white foam rollers , are softer , and get a little squished looking,I like the "eva"foam.it holds up better.
Great Product, Saved The Day!Aug 02, 2010 I had been suffering from an IT band injury (a common running injury) for months and tried all of the common remedies (rest, icing, extensive stretching, etc.) and wasn't making much progress in terms of the pain I experienced when I ran. Once I incorporated this roller (as recommended by doctor friends and runners) in to my stretching and icing routine, I immediately began to see progress with the healing of my injury. The foam is supportive but firm enough to really "dig" deep in to those muscles. Highly recommend from a person with a nagging IT band injury.
Very well made Foam RollerJul 23, 2010 This is very well made foam roller. There is about a 3/8" layer of "cushion" on the outside while the core beneath is very stiff. This combination will lead, IMHO, to a roller that lasts a long time without worry of deformation as it's used.
Overall, this roller is quite stiff but that is what you need to loosen the very tight (and hard to stretch) muscles in the front and side of your thighs. I'm very pleased with this product. It does what I need to and I feel it will last a long time.
Love itJun 24, 2010 We have a couple of similar rollers in the gym at work and I love them so much I got one for home. I use the roller mostly on my legs for soreness from running and biking, IT bands, and sometimes on the back and shoulders depending on what feels tight or sore. It is firm enough but not excessively painful, unless the muscles are sore to start with, but I feel much better after. -1 star for the roller not being perfectly round.
Great rollerJun 18, 2010 Foam is dense and looks like it will be very durable. Size is compact enough to make roller portable and to use without awkwardness in movement.
