Adequate for a Half Round RollerAug 30, 2010

Reasonably price, but I'd would spend the money to get something of a better grade if you plan to use this more than 3 times a week and if you weigh more than 175 pounds. This is good for 6 months depending on the use because it doesn't seem quiet as resilient as it claimed. The enclosed sample exercises were a nice touch. I'll update this review in the next few weeks.

These items arrived on time; however, the material was very messy and parts of it shed all over the place. After packaging these items back up for days afterward I found particles all over the floor where the product had been. I paid the postage to return these items at the end of October and it is now January and still NO refund!! When you call the customer service number someone will check with the warehouse and contact you back. It has now been two weeks of calling and still NO refund!

I ordered this item thinking I would get a good deal and a functional product. I did not want a raw foam roller that was going to be abrasive and a little itchy to the skin. So when I saw the picture is appeared smooth and black. The description also stated it was a black foam roller. There was a picture of a raw red foam roller with it which I assumed was its core and had some sort of covering. When I received this item I felt gypped, it was the red raw foam roller. It was firm and rough to the touch. Not something you would want for long term use. I returned this item. Spending a little more is worth it!

I'm new to this world of foam rollers, so what I received may be exactly what the 'experienced' excerise person would have expected. But I wasn't planning to use the product for exercise, but to 'cushion' an item inside a container against 'shock'/'being dropped'. So, I was expecting to get...WHAT 'I' CALL "FOAM"...which is like the rubbery foam in those hold (pre-synthetic material) bed pillows...or like in a memory foam mattress...i.e. just a little bit 'squishy'. But what I got, (and again this may have been what I 'should' have expected to get), is a stiff, extra firm, super sturdy, styrofoam-like (half) roll, that only has about 1/16th" to 1/4" 'give'. But as this material is as stiff as a modern saftey-designed 'car dashboard' which is suppoused to cushion you well in the event of an accident, this 'may' work for my cushioning needs.
