Dragon SwordJun 20, 2010
By D. T. Moore It is aesthetically similar to the one in the picture, I was thinking that the blade would be of a little better quality though. My kitchen knife is sharper and has more sheen to it. But if you just intend it for a decoration it's good enough. So if you get this product don't go out thinking you a Samurai...OK!
high rated however PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASINGDec 29, 2011
By Thomas I only gave 4 stars for one single reason. as i have read the reviews i saw that the seller was sending out the connor macleod katana (open mouth dragon) instead of the Duncan Macleod katana (closed moth dragon) as i was really wanting the connor i ordered hoping they would send the wrong sword, sure enough the very next day (next day shipping) i had my connor sword. i love the speed and service i got and LOVE the sword i received but please be aware if you are wanting the sword in the picture u will not get it you will get one close to it but different to anyone who knows these swords
very niceAug 07, 2011
By Eddie I got this sword earlier in the day and I must say that I am quite pleased with it. It is picture perfect with the one exception that parts of the handle are painted which I have no problem with because it only adds to how neat it looks. I'm just saying that so anyone who is interested in buying the sword knows that. But still it is an excellent blade and is very sturdy and in fine condition. There is so much of Japans history found in the designs of the sword and this makes it a beautiful piece to add to any collection and thus I give it 5 stars.

Not as picturedAug 10, 2011
By Tony C Snodgrass Do not be fooled. The sword pictured looks exactly like a Highlander: The Series replica of Duncan's katana... That's why I bought the damn thing. The hilt featured in the first few photos of this item is NOT the dragon hilted sword I got. I got a different dragon entirely. There's red and green and dark blue and hideous faux gold inlay all over it; not the sleak ivory-looking one I wanted (that was and still is pictured). The dragon's head is totally different. In the photos on amazon, the dragon's head is (again) very sleak and its mouth is SHUT. The one sitting next to me has a mouth wide open; like it's biting an invisible pencil... THAT wide open.
I bought it to hang on a wall. To be decorative. I can't hang this thing up, and it's not worth trying to return it for the right sword. I will not do business with MartialArtsSupply inc or whatever EVER again.
