A must for the Jambalaya potFeb 26, 2012

If you buy the Jambalaya pot in any size, you need to buy this lid. It keeps moisture in, keeps foreign objects out. This fits perfectly, is reasonably well-made, is light-weight, and if you need a shield when the Zombie apocalypse happens, this just might save your life (grin).

What can you say about a lid..? It's a quality product, it fit the 4 gallon pot. Buy this product if you need it. I purchased it in conjuction with Bayou Classic CI-7404, 4-Gal. Cast Iron Jambalaya Pot, Tripod Stand with Foot Pads, and 2 Lift Hooks. Alternate Uses - Can be used a symbol for a drumset, buy two and clang them together and scare the mess out of your spouse and lastly it can be used as a shield for Medievil fighting.

I was expecting a thin flimsey lid, but I was amazed that it is a very well made sturdy aluminum lid with a heavy duty handle. Execllent quality, should last forever.
