Great Fry Kit. Used it over Thanksgiving. Works great. Easy clean up, burnt on debris just wiped off with a scrubbing spounge. Don't really know if that is the pot or just luck, but pots I've cleaned in the past have been a nightmare. Only ding I would give it is that if you have a large bird the piece that goes up through the center of the bird is kind of short and you will be fishing for it inside the bird to pull it out. Other than that pretty perfect.

This is a great pot for brewing beer. Am able to do a 5 gallon boil with nothing close to a boilover, which was always a problem I had with previous pots. Being Aluminum it cooled down extremely quick when put in a bucket of ice and using my immersion chiller. My only complaint is the thermometer it comes with was not very accurate. I boiled water in it and it said the temperature of the water was only 190'F when it started boiling, but the temperature of boiling should be 212'F. So I would just suggest not to trust the thermometer and use a higher quality thermometer. But this pot was fantastic for my needs and I would highly recommend it to fellow homebrewers looking to get an affordable brew pot.

This is a great stock pot- especially for the price. The pot came with "Bayou Classics" engraved on the side, but as far as I am concerned, that is OK!

I was looking for the cheapest 5+ gallon pot that I could find since I was only going to use this for brewing beer. This works perfectly for that purpose.

I purchased this for 2 reasons: 1) a cheap pot to brew beer in, 2) a nice large pot to use for turkey frying or shrimp.
I haven't tried it out for cooking, but for beer brewing it worked pretty well. It is nice and large so there is not much concern of a boil-over. The only negative is it is a cheaper quality so it does lose heat fast. Stainless steel would be ideal but much more expensive.
UPDATE:
I have been using this pot nearly 2 years and it is working much better than I expected for all applications. I'm finding the thinner material makes it much easier to heat quickly. To me, this far out weighs the heat loss issue.
