I was really desperate to find a straightener after realizing I left mine home during a vacation. So what did I do? I ran to the nearest Target (we were at Cape Cod and I couldn't think of anywhere else to go) and found this one and crossed my fingers it would not totally destroy/fry my hair (the selling point versus the other Target mates was its tourmaline/ceramic technology). But guess what? I AM SHOCKED AT HOW AMAZING THIS IRON IS!!!! I own a chi and two babyliss irons I have loooooved and I was ready for a horrific ending but I have to confess that this iron has worked better than any of them!!!!! The chi I own is rated #1 in amazon and the 2 babylisses are among the top sellers as well so how this little flat iron bought in Target has managed to impress me is beyond me!!! Not only does it work brilliantly (I have thick, wavy hair... a lot, a lot of hair!), but unlike many of my flat irons, it has an automatic voltage adapter, meaning I can use it abroad, in Europe!!!! I had bought a flat iron for "oversea" use before but it was not that great so to find out this one works at any voltage 100-240 V was such a perk!!!!! This one's coming with me on my trip to Germany next week :) In addition, it also has an automatic shut down mechanism that turns it off if you have left it plugged and on accidentally. JUST SIMPLY AMAZING!! I want to go out and buy 2, 3 more to have in stock and give as gifts. I really really recommend this (unfortunate for Amazon, it is A LOT CHEAPER in Target).
In summary? It's just great, even for a picky user as myself, and I still cannot get over it being better than my other expensive flat irons! I just did not expect this from an iron found at a drug store type of setting.

I bought this flat iron at a Target store a year or two ago & absolutely LOVE it! I've had a lot of irons, but this one blows all of them out of the water. I love that it heats up so quickly, it never "snags" my hair & doesn't damage it at all. Actually, I get so many compliments about how healthy my hair looks when I use it! My hair is wavy/curly & this gets it smooth, straight and shiney. I've been looking all over for one for my best friend, and unfortunately they don't have it in my Target anymore, so I will be purchasing one from amazon today as a bday present for her. She will be very happy =) If you are looking for a straight iron- buy this one, you won't be disappointed!

I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS, THIS PRODUCT DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO. I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER FIND A STRAIGHTENER THAT WORKS, BUT THIS ACTUALLY DOES. MY HAIR HAS NEVER BEEN BETTER, IT IS EASY TO USE AND CONTROL. ONLY FLAW IS THAT IT IS HOT AT THE EDGES AND WILL BURN YOU A LITTLE, BUT IT GOT THE JOB JONE.

Product was delivered very quickly and product was delivered new in the box just as it was described. My fiancee is very happy with it.
