I own 2 of these--they are very accurate. The 2 scales consistently weigh within 0.6 lbs of each other and often are exactly the same. I weighed myself before one of my MD visits and it matched the weight at the office. I just ordered a third one for my daughter to use while away at school.

The scale works fine. It is annoying to have to tap the scale (more like thump with my cane) to get it to work. You have to tap it every time. But it does work.

I bought this through Kohl online in September, 2010. One or two weeks ago, the display was gone. Replaced with a new battery, still no display.

Works excellent.
I compare my weight reading on the scale with that from the scales at a clinic or gym, and it reads the same.

I don't even remember how long I have owned this scale. At least 5 years. Maybe even 10. In fact it's the only bathroom scale I have ever owned. It has worked flawlessly and never needed a battery. It just started acting up recently. Since it is right next to my shower on a linoleum floor, it's sees a lot of moisture. I don't care that it failed since it lasted so very long in adverse conditions and it was inexpensive. I suspect that since the display is not sealed to the base that the moisture leaks past the display on to the circuit board and that may have been what wrecked it after all of these years. I tried to spray clean the circuit board with the appropriate solvent, but it didn't help. That shows you how much I liked this scale. I tried to bring it back to life!
It always was repeatable and accurate. It has .5lb resolution which worked fine for me. Time to hunt for another scale!
